C Contract provides comprehensive electrical services including DB installation and upgrades, dedicated circuits for appliances, ELCB/RCCB installation, and full testing. They ensure neat cable routing, balanced circuits, and compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga and MS IEC standards, suitable for homes, offices, and factories.

Factors Affecting Cost

Property size and number of circuits: Larger homes or offices require bigger DB boxes (12–24 ways or more) and more MCBs.

Type of D

B box: Metalclad enclosures are more durable than PVC types. Additional services: Circuit upgrades, surge protection, earthing improvements, and TNB meter applications can increase costs. Location: Services in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor are widely available, but prices may vary slightly in other regions.

Tips for Affordable Installation

Request free site assessments and quotations to compare costs. Ensure the electrician is licensed by Suruhanjaya Tenaga for safety and compliance. Consider upgrading old DB boxes rather than patching circuits, which can prevent future hazards.

Plan for future expansion by choosing a DB box with extra ways for additional circuits. By selecting a licensed provider and understanding the factors affecting cost, you can achieve a safe, reliable, and affordable DB box installation in Malaysia.
