Preparation and Safety

Before starting, cut off the power supply to the distribution box and verify with a tester that no electricity is present. Wear personal protective equipment such as insulated gloves, safety glasses, and slip-resistant shoes to prevent electric shock or injury. Gather necessary tools: screwdriver, wire stripper, multimeter, and insulation tape.

Mounting the Cover Light

Open the distribution box carefully, following the manufacturer's instructions to avoid damaging the enclosure or internal components. Locate the designated mounting area for the cover light inside the box. Most distribution boxes have a pre-marked or recessed area for lighting fixtures.

Secure the light fixture using screws or clips provided with the light. Ensure it is firmly attached and does not interfere with circuit breakers, busbars, or wiring.

Wiring the Cover Light
