Calculation of fiber optic grating exposure wavelength

Professional fiber Bragg grating calculator for FBG design and analysis. Calculate Bragg wavelength, reflection characteristics, and optimize FBG parameters for telecommunications, sensing, and laser applications. Fiber Safety Warning: FBGs are written in optical fiber which is fragile and can. When a Bragg grating exists in an optical fiber, it will reflect a specific wavelength dependent on the period of the Bragg grating and the index of refraction of the optical fiber. The FBG is constructed with an effective index of 1. 5, and a periodic variation of 1e-3 in the refractive index of the core of a step-index fiber. When light propagates through the fiber, the FBG.
