Test the Network: Verify that video signals are transmitted clearly and that all cameras are accessible on the network.

Protect the Connections: Enclose all outdoor devices in weatherproof housings to prevent moisture ingress and physical damage.

Avoid splicing fiber unless necessary; use pre-terminated cables for reliability. Maintain slack in the cable to prevent tension and allow for future adjustments. Use armored or gel-filled cables in high-risk areas to protect against rodents, soil pressure, or water.
