Price of Standard Fireproof Cable Trays in Singapore

Standard fireproof cable trays in Singapore typically range from SGD 50 to SGD 200 per meter, depending on material, size, and fire rating.

Overview of Fireproof Cable Trays

Fireproof cable trays are designed to support and protect electrical cables while meeting stringent fire safety standards. Common materials include FRP/GRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) and galvanized or stainless steel, both offering fire retardancy, corrosion resistance, and structural strength.

FR

P trays are lightweight, non-conductive, and UV resistant, making them suitable for outdoor and corrosive environments, while steel trays provide higher load capacity and durability for industrial applications.

Price Factors

The cost of fireproof cable trays in Singapore depends on several factors: Material: FRP/GRP trays are generally more expensive than standard steel trays due to their corrosion resistance and fire-retardant properties. Tray Type: Ladder, perforated, or wire mesh designs affect pricing. Ladder trays typically cost more due to higher material usage.

Load Rating: Light, medium, heavy, or super heavy-duty trays influence the price, with higher load capacities costing more. Length and Width: Standard lengths are usually 2–3 meters, and wider trays for larger cable bundles increase cost. Fire Rating: Trays meeting ASTM E-84 Class 1 or NEMA FG-1 standards may carry a premium.

Typical Price RangeFRP/GRP Fireproof Cable Trays: SGD 80–200 per meter, depending on resin type (Isophthalic Polyester or Vinyl Ester) and fire retardancy level. Steel Fireproof Cable Trays (Epoxy-coated or HDG): SGD 50–150 per meter for standard duty, with heavy-duty or stainless steel options reaching SGD 180–200 per meter.
