Global Address List Visibility: Verify that the group is not hidden from the Global Address List (GAL).

In the Exchange Admin Center, go to Recipients > Groups > Distribution list, select the group, and ensure "Hide this group from the global address list" is unchecked.

Mail-

Enabled and Attributes: Confirm the group has an email address and is mail-enabled. Missing attributes can prevent recognition. Permissions and Policies: Check that users have the correct address book policies and permissions to view the group.

Power

Shell Errors: If using Get-DistributionGroup and encountering "NotFound" errors, ensure the full identity path is used, permissions are correct, and the Exchange Management Shell is updated. Cache and Sync: Outlook may use an outdated Offline Address Book. Refresh it via Send/Receive > Download Address Book.

Physical Electrical Distribution Boxes
